ROOTS OF CHANGE GROUPS BEGIN THIS MONTH!

The next opportunity to take the Roots of Change journey begins the week of February 19th.  This 12-week experience will gather groups of 10-12 people for 2 hours each week, where participants are encouraged to share a potluck meal and conversation with others while learning about their emotions, motivations and relationships in a supportive environment.

Topics covered include:  An Introduction to Affect Psychology (Silvan Tomkins), The Role of Shame in Relationships (Donald Nathanson), Better Communication in Conflict (William Isaacs), Jesus’ Third Way (Walter Wink), The Way We Make Meaning (Samuel Bois, Alfred Korzybski, Sam Keen), Enriching Relationships (Don Catherall, Vernon Kelly) and Restorative Justice/Approaches.

The combination of insights and group interaction has been called empowering, healing and “the kind of practical spiritual renewal we need in our times.”

Groups will be offered at the times below:

Sundays    9:00 – 11:00 am     (beginning Feb. 19th)

Wednesdays    6:00 – 8:00 pm   (beginning Feb. 29th)
